Background: The home, a rental property since 2016, experienced ongoing issues with tenants since 2021. Legal actions resulted in eviction in September 2024.
Squatters entered the property multiple times despite legal actions.
Invitation Homes is working to resolve issues with tenant verification and security.
Resident concerns regarding rental properties and their impact on neighborhoods.
Village regulations require rental properties to register and pay an annual fee.
Increased fines for property maintenance violations were implemented in January 2024.
Residents can report suspected fraudulent school enrollments to Dr. Dana Smith.
